This 5-day course teaches how to design and create portals, portlets and portlet projects using WebSphere Portal. Using extensive hands-on labs, this course shows how to design and develop basic portlets, and then quickly progresses into more complex areas of portlet design and development. This class covers how to develop customized portlets, how to create portlet services, as well as AJAX and Web 2.0 portlets. This course also covers composite applications, including portal branding.
