Veritas Storage Foundation Cluster File System 5.x for UNIX

Course:   VERCFS
Duration:   3 Days
Level:   II
On our website at:   http://www.verhoef-training.com/courses/VERCFS.html

Course Summary

Veritas Storage Foundation Cluster File System (SFCFS) is a unified file system that spans servers, providing concurrent access to storage and enabling faster failover of applications and databases. Cluster File System (CFS) significantly reduces application downtime and improves data access compared to traditional single-instance file systems. As multiple servers share storage resources, the time taken to bring storage online is drastically reduced following an application failure.

This course describes how to install, configure, verify, and troubleshoot Veritas SFCFS. We explain how the core component products of SFCFS, such as Veritas Cluster Volume Manager (CVM), Veritas CFS, and Veritas Cluster Server (VCS), are combined to manage volumes and file systems in a shared configuration.
