What You Can Expect
This course enables the participants to acquire and develop key skills to effectively Recover and Monitor an Oracle11g database . The participants will learn to configure the RMAN backup and recovery utility. In addition, they will be introduced to Oracle???s Enterprise manager Wizards for recovery diagnostics, recovery wizard, implementing flashback technologies wizards, the integrated LogMiner, and others. The Database Resource Manager will be discussed as a means for controlling resource utilization on database servers whose resources exceeds its capacity. Many exercises and lab sessions reinforce the learning objectives and provide participants the opportunity to gain practical hands-on experience.
